Mr. Green Android Review

Written by Dustin Jermalowicz
Important note: German players can no longer play at Mr. Green casino.  When I think of the best betting sites in the world, Mr. Green is one of the first names that pops into my head. I have been a member at Mr. Green for several years, and find that they consistently offer some of the best games, fastest and most secure banking around, as well as some fantastic bonuses that pad your bankroll quite nicely.

However, when it comes to using Mr. Green on my Android device, I have to admit that I am a novice. I have never attempted to load Mr. Green on my Android tablet or smartphone, and thus am completely new to the whole experience of mobile betting through here.

So how does this excellent PC casino fare on an Android mobile device? Read on to find out.

First Impressions: A Very Capable Looking Mobile Site

When I first went to Mr. Green Casino on my Android smartphone, I was struck by just how well the overall look and feel of the casino translated to my 5 inch screen. Everything looked the way it should, and I was met with almost twenty games waiting for me on the home screen.

Navigating to other sections of the Mr. Green Site was effortless, as I simply slid my finger along the navigation bar to choose whether or not to play slots, table games, video poker, or progressive jackpot titles.

When I moved on to my Android tablet, things looked even better. The large 10 inch screen of my tablet beautifully brought in all of the same features of my smartphone, but looked much better and didn’t require me to strain my eyes quite so much.

Registration and Deposits: Simple and Many Options

Because I have held an account at Mr. Green for quite some time, I did not have to register an account with the casino on my smartphone. For the sake of experience though, I ended up going to the registration screen on my Android tablet and punched in information.

If you have never done this before, you will need to put in some personal information and set up your account. The whole process took about two minutes for me and should really not be a burden on anyone to get set up, as the whole process is pretty harmless.

After getting set up, I needed to make a deposit on my Android device. Mr. Green accepts a variety of payments at its casino including Visa, MasterCard, Neteller, PayPal, Skrill, EntroPay, Bank Transfer, and ClickandBuy.

On my Android, I was able to deposit through Visa, MasterCard, and Neteller. I ended up choosing my Visa card, which is generally the card I use when putting money into the casino. Players using a credit card should note that a 2.5% fee applies on any deposit you make with the card, but that all withdrawal requests through Mr. Green carry no charges whatsoever.

Bonuses: A Nice Start

Players who are new to Mr. Green and register an account are eligible for a 100% match bonus up to £100, which also includes an extra free 100 spins when you make your first (£20) deposit. Additionally, you also get 5 days of 20 free spins on selected games.

There’s another exciting live casino promotion – Second Chance Bonus. New players can enjoy 50% cashback up to £50 on the losses. These are excellent promotions, although unfortunately I could not claim them because I am not a new player.

All bonus and spins are subject to Mr Green’s terms and conditions: New players only. 18+. 35x wagering applies to Bonus Cash and Free Spins. Deposit of £20+ unlocks a 100% Match Bonus up to £100 in Bonus Cash, subsequent wager of £20+ on slots unlocks 100 Free Spins and 20 Free Spins per day over 5 days on selected games.

The Games: A Massive Mobile Library

Mr. Green has one of the largest gaming libraries that I have ever seen. The PC version of the casino boasts hundreds of games in its library, and includes titles from some of the world’s leading wagering software designers such as Microgaming, Net Entertainment, IGT, Sheriff Gaming, and more.

This large game library is ported over to Mr. Green’s Android compatible casino as well, although the library isn’t nearly as large on your smartphone or tablet. I counted 78 games in total at Mr. Green, which is still pretty impressive for a mobile casino.

Slots are the main highlight at Mr. Green, and games such as After Night Falls, South Park, Greedy Goblins, Thunderstruck, Jack Hammer, and Wolf Run really bring home the high production values you would expect from these great betting franchises. I really noticed no difference in these mobile slots on my Android devices; everything played exactly as it should.

In terms of table games, things are definitely a lot lighter in Mr. Green’s Android casino. I found two Blackjack games, as well as two Roulette games lining Mr. Green’s mobile gaming floor, which is a tad of a disappointment. Ideally, I would like to see more games offered to Android users, as Mr. Green’s relationships with various online betting firms is good enough that they could find versions of these games.

Other than that one small gripe though, the table games do play well, and I actually spent a considerable amount of time playing Net Entertainment’s Blackjack Touch game, which is one of the finest mobile Blackjack games I have ever played.

If you like video poker, you will find five different variants of the game here. I found the graphics of the games to be a bit simple, but the game responded well to my touch, and I was adequately entertained for the short time that I played the games.

Withdrawals and Customer Service: Fast and Top Notch

I spent quite a bit of time playing at Mr. Green on both my Android smartphone as well as my tablet. I would say that over a week’s time, I ended up spending upwards of four to five hours actively playing the games, which is quite a bit for me. After this game time, I decided that I needed to pull out some money in order to test the mobile withdrawal process at Mr. Green.

I ended up initiating a £275 withdrawal request to the folks at Mr. Green, who were helpful in guiding me through this process on my tablet. I ended up choosing to withdraw through PayPal, and saw my money within a few hours. Mr. Green definitely has one of the fastest banking procedures I have ever seen, and I was happy to know that using an Android device does not complicate the banking process at all.

As noted above, I used the customer service to help me with my withdrawal request. I know how to get around the PC site pretty well, but being a Mr. Mobile newbie, I really appreciated the fact that the staff always pointed me in the right direction when it came to getting to the right area. The staff here is very good, and will always give you the time of day (which is one of the reasons that Mr. Green is one of my primary casinos).

Overall, I feel that Mr. Green’s Android casino is fantastic. I love the games, the banking options, the staff, and the great bonuses that they offer to new players. The only thing I would like to see improved is the low selection of table games, which could bring a whole lot of variety to this great mobile game library.

Overall: A
